Outshine continues to grow and strengthens its team with two new experts. Account Manager Lauri Laukkanen and Interactive Media Developer Ilkka Helo bring expertise that supports both everyday client operations and the development of the future of digital outdoor advertising.
Although their roles are very different, both are united by an interest in building something new.

Growth close to our clients
Media sales are familiar territory for Lauri Laukkanen. He has been doing sales work since a young age, studied marketing, and worked in media sales, marketing automation, and entrepreneurship.
What particularly caught his attention at Outshine was how quickly the company has grown into the urban landscape.
– I noticed really explosive growth in the urban landscape. Almost every day a new surface appears somewhere. I was interested in the opportunity to help clients specifically in local marketing, Lauri explains.
Lauri's work focuses particularly on local clients and tailored solutions for them.
– What excites me most is solving clients' needs. When you understand the client's business and goals, you also find the best visibility solutions. Long client relationships develop through listening and genuinely helping.
During the first weeks at Outshine, the collaborative spirit made a real impression.
– Absolutely amazing feeling. Here we genuinely pull together and want success for our clients. It's been really easy for me to jump in.

Vision already on outdoor advertising of the next generation
While Lauri helps clients find visibility today, Ilkka Helo builds what that visibility might look like tomorrow.
Ilkka's background combines visual communication, XR design, 3D modeling, virtual reality, and the development of digital technologies. Outshine became familiar to him through an internship, when interest in motion-responsive digital solutions awakened.
– I had noticed Outshine in the street landscape and heard about the company especially through experimental technologies. Motion sensors, interactivity, and urban environment development interested me right away, Ilkka explains.
In his current role, he researches and develops new types of interactive solutions for digital outdoor advertising.
Projects include motion-responsive augmented reality applications, implementations based on hand and body recognition, and new three-dimensional experiences.
– What inspires me especially is the meeting of motion and technology. It's rewarding to see how people spontaneously start trying and playing with the applications. When technology sparks curiosity and participation, something truly memorable emerges.
What has impressed Ilkka about Outshine is especially the company's openness to new ideas.
– Here ideas are picked up really quickly. There's no thinking about why something wouldn't work, but how it could be implemented. I think that's one of Outshine's greatest strengths.

Common denominator: agility and the desire to do things in a new way
Although Lauri's and Ilkka's daily work looks very different, both highlight the same thing: Outshine's way of operating.
– Outshine is truly agile. We can respond to client needs efficiently without unnecessary bureaucracy, Lauri describes.
– For me, Outshine appears as a forward-looking and experimental company. Here we dare to test new things, Ilkka continues.
Lauri is known as an easily approachable partner for clients.
